Dale...

I have on old NS LC's and E60/80's but always change Power Supplies too. I'm guessing you have an LH style case. That would require some greater mods to get a newer PS in there. The PS in an LH won't be able to supply the separate power for AMD/P4 anyway without some additional mods too...

I was jsut curious if anyone has ever successfully rebuilt a Netserver with a standarad ATX motherboard?

I have a 5/100 that I was going to try this with. The only obstacle is the power supply, and i was going to try and build a cable that changes the P1/P2 to an ATX format.

A standard board will fit, with just a little modification where the keyboard and mose hook up, but everything else looks fine.

Any hints or tips appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the info. I ended up just using a standard power supply with the ATX motherboard. Everything else works fine and I have access to all 6 SCSI drives in the LH case.

Thanks again.
Dale
