      <description>I get a single beep after post when booting and then nothing but a blinking cursor in the upper right.  OS is nt.  Please help!</description>

      <description>hi&lt;BR /&gt;first thing is to see which is your configuration, have tries to perform a clear cmos and a reset managment?&lt;BR /&gt;did you have some error at post? what about your raid? is it failed? check the boot device priority? how this problem accur? after which kind of operation, hardware or software? have you tried to boot with a Fault tolleerance floppy disk?, have you performed a concistency check? take a look in the hardware event log.&lt;BR /&gt;these are somes general informations, &lt;BR /&gt;hope can help&lt;BR /&gt;bye&lt;BR /&gt;marino</description>

      <description>If it doesn't boot to anything, i.e. floppy, HDD or cd, then you need to clear the config on the system.  Power the system down, look for the system switches and move switch 5 to the on position, boot the system ubtil the end of post, power the system down, flip sawitch back to off position and boot in setup (F2) and do a save and exit.  This should fix it.  If this does work, try updating your BIOS.  If it does boot to floppy or CD but not HDD, could be a software issue or RAID/SCSI controller issue.</description>
