    <description>The processor runs at a multiple of the board speed.  This multiplier factor is what the switches set.  The factor is always x.0 or x.5 times the "base" speed.&lt;BR /&gt;If your board won't set a higher factor there is nothing you can do.&lt;BR /&gt;FWIW: the lower-speed processors are still very easy to find on the secondary market.</description>

      <title>NetServer E60 PIII installation</title>

      <description>I have placed the slowest PIII I could find into the E60 (a 667EB) and when booting I get the " Missing Microcode Update" error. I flashed the BIOS and still get the error.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The board SWitches only show PII 500 support. How would I indicate the PIII 550 or higher?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What would it take to get rid of the Microcode error? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for any assistance.&lt;BR /&gt;Mykal</description>

      <description>This is not possible.  The limitations of the system board will not allow for processors greater than PIII 550.</description>
