topic hard disk in Netservers

I have some folders in a removable hard disk which I use at home and office. All the while no problem in viewing the files and folders. But on one fine day I could NOT find some folders when using at my home PC but they appear in my office PC. Why?

I made another copy of the folder in the same removable disk but again these folders too are not visible from my home PC. why?

Hi,
By any chance you copied the folders which are readonly or hidden ?
If this is so then in you office PC the option of view all files is enabled but the same is disabled in your home pc.
I will advise you to check this option :
Assuming the O.S. is WindowsXP/2000
explorer==>tools==>folder options==>View tab
there you will have 2 options you have to select one to view the hidden files and folders.

Regards,
