Thank you for your reply. I have tried replacing the one processor on the system. Same thing. Everytime I run diagnostic the server locks up while testing "processor/cache". I have disabled internal and external cache with no change. Any suggestions?

I have an LH4 that crashes randomly, locks up. Diagnostics tell me L2 cashe is not responding. Can you tell me where L2 cache is? or how to disable long enough to keep users on-line while replacing? Thank you!

Hi there.
Is it possible, that you have some cache on the board ? If you have several of these chips on the mobo, try to pull them piece by piece and do not forget the jumpersettings or whatever is necessary to activate the new size of onboard cache. I have had this problem on a Gigabyte board. After checking the cache chips i had to replace one. Then it worked again.

Rgds
Alexander M. Ermes
