Hi there,

At a guess i would say it would have been part of a HP remote management package, and probably a vesa or Eisa card.

you should be able to remove it using the Eisa config disk
However i am not sure on the process involved as i have never done it.

but my surgestion is:

when you boot your Eisa disk it asks you if you have any Extended isa cards installed I would say "N" and have a look and see if it has any sub menus that would point to those sort of cards.
short of that working you could contact HP support and ask how to reset your BIOS ..

I'm sure someone else would be able to help a lot more than i have but till they post, have a go. You cant make it any worse :)
here is the url for both the latest Bios update and Eisa config disk.
http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/swindex.pl?p=nslxep&l=en&c=BIOS

Regards,

Evan.
