Lan adapter are at 100Mb/S and it is the standard which said that the burt rate and the fisical signals will work at 100Mb/s, even when you work at 50% of the troughput, the protocol will always see that it work at 100Mb/s, with load balancing you can have 100 plus 100, but it will always be referenced a 100 MB/s.
you have to mesure the ammount of data send across your lan to have the bandwith used.

Hello all,

Have a little problem with the network cards on our LP2000r which are Intel 82559 10/100 TX PCI LAN running on a win2k box. Having set both network cards to 100 full duplex, when using proset II to team them in load balancing, i still remain at 100 Mbps and not 200 Mbps as i would like.
Any ideas as to what i am doing wrong or what the problem could be?

Many thanks in advance.

Mark
