I have two old netservers E40 and E45. I removed the memory from both servers and when I installed them back, I'm getting the error:

Non-ECC compatible memory.... which prevents my servers from booting.

Can somebody tell me what to do? Thanks.

hi
the E40 support standard ram, originaly the 200 Mhz E40 ships with 32 MBytes of RAM installed, the 180 Mhz E40 with 16 MBytes of RAM
the E45 come with 32 or 64 MBytes ECC FPM memory
so be sure to not mix or exchange the simms of the servers
bye
marino

Thank you... but is there a way for me to identify which RAM to use? Both memories from the E40 and E45 machines have been mixed.
