I have an older Netserver LS/2 that will not boot. I get no errors, it just stops after checking the HP disk array. It won't boot from floppy or CD-ROM. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Gary,

1. Check the boot order in the system setup (F2 at startup). The default is usually floppy, CD, then hard drive.

2. Check the NetRaid config (ctrl-M during startup).

Can you boot from a floppy or CD?

--Joe

I would try and clear the cmos, which will require you to boot onto the ECU utility and reconfigure your deviced. Here is a link to show you where the clear cmos switch is located:

http://netserver.hp.com/support/parts_service/system_board/sys_board_tpl.asp?pid=LS
