Run the intel utility for ID of CPU and it says 512k cache. I have also done some looking and PIII 1.26 with 256k cache seems to be a rare to non-existant item. Which should I believe the Documentation for the server or the Intel ID utility? Does anyone know if I were to install a PIII 1.26 512k cache as the 2nd processor (after recommended bios update and HAL changes in W2K), would I risk doing real damage to the system?
