I need to add a second proceeor to a windows 2000 server. I know that HP used to have a utility program to upgrade the HAL but I can't seem to find it. What program do I need to upgrade the processor without reinstalling windows 2000?

Hi,

You need to update the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) with the ones designed for two CPUs.
