topic NetServer Navigator Error in Netservers

I have bought a used LC2000r Netserver.
It has 2gb of RAM and 4 36g SCSI drives.
When I use the HP Netserver Navigator (M.04.05) I get the following error message:
'there is insufficient xms memory to load smart drive'
It then craps out and I can go no further.
When I try to just load the W2k Advanced server OS It hangs upon intial screen if I push the F6 button for additional drivers or if I do not push F6. Any help would be gratly appreciated.
