Extending the Raid Array

Greetings.

I have a drive space issue which an Exchange information store resides on.
Server OS: Win2000
NetRaid Assistant:Loaded and operational
Raid Level: 5
SCSI drives including new one are all the same size.
My question is if the d:drive is running low on space is the new additional space added to the D: directly?
Original d:= 65g
add another 36g for a total of 101G on d:
Any issues if the disk are dynamic?
Will the Netraid controller support 2 logical arrays being a mirrored set + raid 5?

No, the new additional space is NOT added to the D: directly, it appears as free space. The OS can only manage the partition logical drives. Win2000 will allow you to join 2 partitions into a single drive letter though.

Adding one more 36 will give you 20 something GB of additional free space to partition (RAID overhead, everything is redundent remember)
