The CPU kits usually come with VRMs. But as for the part numbers, it is anyones guess except HPs. Let me check the part number....
the pn 0950-2847 does not show up as a valid part number, where 0950-2848 does. Still looking......
Looked through our inventory here. The kits have the 0950-2848 with them. The indevidual piece part VRM at HP box labeled D6021-63046 and the part inside is marked 0950-2847. The HP part description for D6021-63046 is "Voltage regulator module (VRM) - For Pentium II/III processors" so go for it.

My Netserver LH3 currently has a VRM with PN: 0950-2848, and I am going to add a second CPU. Is the VRM with PN: 0950-2847 compatible with the server? Or will I have to find another VRM with PN: 0950-2848?

Thanks.
