LC2000 Error Message 0901-6B plus Network Adapter gone??

During boot up our Netserver LC2000 with MS Windows 2000 server s/ware is throwing an 0901-6B message (System could not enable the integrated LAN)

I have tried the power down & Bios fix per HP Net Support & the LC200 manual but haven't got that to work.

Have noted that an NIC/Network Adapter is not showing on Device Manager & that Server has lost its IP address & the 'Local Area Network" icon.

Also, on boot 2 other messages I am unsure about:
'Embedded LAN: No IRQ" [should there be one?]

Symbios Inc - "PCI boot ROM, no supported devices found" {Is the NIC on a PCI?]

The light at back of the Server where NIC card is glows amber.

How can I tell if NIC is faulty? & fix the 0901-6B error message problem?

Any advice appreciated.

Hi,
You may well now have fixed the problem as it was sometime ago that you posted.
Anyway, the 0901 errors indeed indicates that the server cannot enable the Integrated Lan.
As you have already done the power down and Bios, unfortunately I suspect that you will need to change the System Bd.

There had been some lightning over the previous weekend & I suspect the system was tickled rather than zapped.
Finally deduced that the Server NIC had blown. It also took out a router box & an NIC in 1 of the client PC's. We fitted a drop in NIC in the server & got it going again.
