topic Replace dead LC2000 embedded LAN with Lan Board?? in Netservers

I am now reasonably sure that the LAN 'card" [embedded on the system processor board?], in our LC2000 P111/933 (P1802A) has croaked.

Rest of hardware appears ok.

Can I bypass the LAN Port/ card by dropping in an LH3 PCI 10/100TX Lan Board (D5013-63003)

If so, are there any installation/set up issues I need to watch out for?
Thank you
GS

Simple answer is YES, of course you can add a LAN can. Though I am not sure if there is a disable feature in the BIOS for the onboard.
