I need a .cfg file for a 27248A ethernet EISA card for a Netserver 5/60 LM. The machine asks for !H_Q1941.cfg but HP said there is no such file

Gary,

You will need the HP Netserver Utilities CD and a diskette with the EISA files for that card.

I don't see the files available from HP anymore.

If you have a set of CD's for the box - the EISA cfg files might be on there - I don't remember which HP EISA cards came on the disks.

I have a bootable floppy to configure the hardware, I'm in need of the EISA cfg file for the 27248A ethernet card !H_Q1941.cfg . If anyone has this file please e-mail it to me at gary_matthis@pepboys.com

I'm afraid your card is somehow defective? HP eisa files are usually named !HWPXXXX.cfg.
the one for the 27248A should be !HWP1940.cfg and is located on the drivers disk attached.
Use /x to extract keeping the directory structure. You may be lucky just renaming the file?
