    <description>There is actually an new version of ssh posted on the sites provided above.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Resist the temptation to use that especially if this is a production machine.  Bleeding edge makes sysadmin's nuts.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm attaching a document on ssh that will make ssh more useful.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also on the HP-UX side, make sure they are using Secure Shell 3.50 which has much faster public key exchange.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I need a version of ssh-2 to connect to a new hpux 11.i server. With my SuSe linux 8.0 it will not work do to version reasons (ssh told me when I tried to connect/ Could this really be a problem?).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What is the newest linux ssh version and how can I get it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks, Oliver</description>

      <description>Hi Oliver,&lt;BR /&gt;In my opinion the best thing to do is to download the latest source version on &lt;A href="http://www.openssh.org" target="_blank"&gt;www.openssh.org&lt;/A&gt; and compile it on your own.&lt;BR /&gt;tar -xf &lt;SOURCE_FILES.TAR&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cd opensshdir..&lt;BR /&gt;./configure&lt;BR /&gt;make&lt;BR /&gt;make install&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and play with it .. (ssh....)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hth&lt;BR /&gt;benoit&lt;/SOURCE_FILES.TAR&gt;</description>
