I have the same problem with LexMark 1100 series. There should be enough demand to support some enterprising driver programmer. I know I would be willing to contribute.

Hello Giovanni,

from what I understand (not being a driver developer at all, just starting to cut my teeth on assembler at all right now), how difficult this is for someone in the know depends on how forthcoming the manufacturer is concerning details of the HW used in the piece of gear. Form what I gather hp has not been very cooperative in this case.
