I have replaced a faulty disk in a RAID1.
But it will not start rebuilding.
In IM the status of the disk is "Ready for Rebuild" and in the ACU it reports "The logical drive is queued for rebuilding".
I have tried to firmware upgrade the controller (E200i) and both disks, but still the same.
Server has been restarted twice.
I have attached the ACU diagnostic report.
Jørgen,

if you search the forum you will find several posts on this issue.

I can't opne the ADU report, and I'm not any good reading it.

But the reson might be, that there's a failure on the other disk also.
(Hard Read errors).
The quickest way, it to check the disk using the System Management Hompage.
You can see most statistics of the disk, on SMH.

BR
/jag

Hi Pieter,

All drives is 146Gb.
I checked the drives after your reply and found that the drive that reports 72Gb (the second drive in the RAID1 that had the faulty disk) had a lot of bad blocks.
So I had to run a check disk and make a backup. Replace drive, rebuild RAID and restore data.
Luckily I didn't loose any data.

So your source drive was bad?

That will prohibit rebuild.

BR
/jag
