      <title>ProLiant ML 110 G5 does not want to boot from CD</title>

      <description>Hi all&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have 2 ML 110 servers that i need to load 2003 on. The one worked withou a problem. The second one for some reason does not boot from the CD ROM. I have checked the CD ROM, the boot order and the disc that i'm using and all is 100%&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Has anyone ran into this or can hep me in some way please?</description>

      <description>Heya, maybe the CD-ROM in the 2nd server is faulty? Is the cd-blinking? Can you hear if the cd is spinning?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does it attempt to boot from it in the POST?</description>

      <description>That is unlikely...i have tested the CD ROM that worked on the 1st server which i did install and i was still getting the same issue</description>

      <description>HÄ±mmm..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SATA connection ports correct?  &lt;BR /&gt;Use the SATA 7 and SATA 8 for optical device. please check it.&lt;BR /&gt;I attached screenshot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That will also fix the problem :) Remember to assign points to answers that helped in your problem. So the forum stays alive...</description>

      <description>havent tried a linux disc but have tried about 4 different windows OS to boot from and nothing worked.</description>

      <description>It gets to the screen where it is suppose to show "press any key to boot from CD"...the cursor flickers there also but then it goes over to the windows, linux screen or whatever is installed on the server</description>
