topic HP ML 350 - Disk bad performance in HPE ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL)

I only Know when the disk is with bad performance and should be replaced when i do the insigth diagnóstic. Shouldn´t be any warning on event viewer saying that the disk should be replaced because it have bad performance?

I have very lucky discovering this disk before they failed, but has i administer more then 50 server i need to have some way to be warn every time a disk should be replaced by bad performance or failed state.

I hope someone can help me.

hi,

if some disk have HW error the syste should informe you that you have something like "predictive failure" them you should replace the disk.

mikap

Hi,

But the system dont inform.. I see the windows events and the hp agent events and dont show anything about predictive failure.
Only after i make the insigth diagnostic is that i see there is a disk on performance failure, and then the event is registered on the event viewer.

Is this possible? or do i have to make some configuration on the server to alert for predictive failure of hardware?
