I have found, that I can install 7140M processors instead. I have found some in another city, but it's only processors, no heatsink and VRM.<BR />I have found this info:<BR />Model___Speed___L2Cache___FSB(MHz)_TDP(W)<BR />_7030___2.80____2x1_______800______165<BR />7140M___3.40____2,_16L3___800______150<BR />So TDP is lower for 7140M.<BR />Can I install only 7140M processors instead of 7030 without changing VRM and heatsinks ?<BR /><BR />and another question - is there any difficulties with installing processors with different codes (like SL7DX or smthn like that) ? The heatsinks and VRM's are the same, so if you have the chips available, there no problem swapping them.<BR /><BR />As regards the Intel sSpec number, the SL7DX (D0) and SL7PF (E0) should work together in the same system. I am not sure what the other post stated regarding the Windows 2008 Server issue, so i cannot address that.<BR /><BR />Good Luck!
