Let me just add it is a 6 Disk Slot (LFF) DL380 G7 and we wan to create 3 x RAID 1+0 (mirror) arrays. An engineer who's building it seems to think there is a maximum of 2 arrays can be built. Currently in a different country so I cannot verify his statement.

Hi

How many arrays can be created on a DL380 G7 Server with a P410i Smart Array Controller.
Someone is telling me there is a maximum of 2 (doesn't sound right?)

For P410i/ZM (zero cache memory) the max is 2 arrays. If you have at least 256MB cache memory, you can create more than 2 arrays.
