    <description>This looks like you have 4 disks configured, this means the capacity of 2 disk drives = 1.2TB.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But why 4 spare disks?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The array did what you have configured.</description>

      <title>RAID 10 Configuration on MSA 2000 G3</title>

      <description>I have 8 disks installed in MSA2312fc, which each have a capacity of 600GB and configured RAID 10. when I choose the 8 disks for RAID 10 result showed 1,2TB.Supposed to be 2.4 TB&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;MSA show the configuration RAID 10&lt;BR /&gt;RAID1-1 : 2 Disk&lt;BR /&gt;RAID1-2 : 2 Disk&lt;BR /&gt;Spare   : 4 Disk&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There is a solution to this case?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank's &amp;amp; Peace&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thaufik Jonhar</description>

      <description>I dont know why the option spare is show, i'm just choose 8 disk for raid 10 configuration.&lt;BR /&gt;and the result is :&lt;BR /&gt;RAID1-1 : 2 Disk&lt;BR /&gt;RAID1-2 : 2 Disk&lt;BR /&gt;Spare : 4 Disk&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;any solution for disable the option spare?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank's</description>

      <description>When you create them I believe there is this option about sub-disk or sub-spare (or something like that) - this can influence how many spares are assigned.</description>
