Hi,

on my ProLiant ML350 G4p I replaced the old battery by a new one.
But allready the status ist Temp disabled.

Drive Array Accelerator Status Change. The array accelerator board attached to the array controller in Slot 3 has a new status of 4.
(Accelerator status values: 1=other, 2=notConfigured, 3=enabled, 4=tmpDisabled, 5=permDisabled)

What can I do?

This is normal and by design.

replacing the battery it takes a while to recharge it.
While the battery is low on charge, it temporarily disables array accelerator.

Wait until the battery is fully charged.

you can view detailed info in ACU about it.

HTH Bye!

try here, but you won't find exactly 263.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00300504/c00300504.pdf

but, just for clear: it's not enough self-explanatory the ACU message:

# 263 The current array controller has one or more array accelerator
batteries that are failed. Array accelerator operations such as
Expansion, Extension, and Migration are temporarily suspended until
the batteries are replaced. Please consult the user guide to identify
and replace the failed batteries.

???

What would you like to know more?
