If you have the HP option number for the DIMM it would be a lot easier.

Maybe what you have is this?

If so, then yes - as it is in the quickspecs it is compatible.

Here are the quickspecs. It lists all supported RAM in it along with configurations. You need to consider dual vs quad rank. dual is usually 18 sticks max. Quad is 12 sticks.
