Hi

You can try to start the server without any disk & try to clear any configuration exists( Please remember, you shouldn't put any of the hdd).

Then you put back the hdds which was installed on this server ( in the correct slots, if possible). Controller should detect the array present on hdds.

Please let me know the status,,,

Regards,

Shameer

Hi,
I confused some thing a bit.
There are two disks in our server(DL380G4 -
2x36GB 15k- RAID 1). I know that HP SA raid controller stores raid configuration in raid controller memory and disks as well. It means that i can remove disks and bring back the disks without data and raid configuration corruption on them.
I done it.
1)I powered down server and removed disks from the server.
2) Then I installed and configured other disks in this server.
3) After that I powered down the server and removed new disks.
4)Finally I brought back the disks which were located in the server at first.
After powering up the server i saw an error message that disks are not configured.
Why raid controller did not read the raid configuration from these disks?
Thank You very much!

Thanks a lot.
Really, after clearing configuration the SA controller could detected RIS on the old disks properly.
