    <description>Hi Farooq,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you did wrong diagnose.&lt;BR /&gt;Problem is in power supplyon storage device connected to your DL580 G2 server via controller in slot 4.&lt;BR /&gt;So, you probably have fan failed status on that power supply.&lt;BR /&gt;Check if you can replace only fan, or you must order new power supply.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;KR,&lt;BR /&gt;Predrag</description>

      <title>External Storage System Fan Failure</title>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have DL580 G2 Server and it is giving following errors in logs continuously: (see attached)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;=============================================&lt;BR /&gt;External Storage System Fan Failure (Slot 4, Fan 1, Location Storage)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;External Storage System Power Supply: General Failure (Slot 4, Power Supply 1)&lt;BR /&gt;=============================================&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is clear that Power Supply need replacement, but i am confused about fan, is it power supply fan, or other fan.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help me.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Farooq Saleem</description>

      <description>Sorry for such a late reply.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have replaced the fan of external storage, and now it is working fine.</description>
