Hello
Has smebody already tried (successfully?) the installation of VmWare ESX i 3.5U2 on a ML150 G5?
This device does not appear in the official list of HP servers supporting ESXi.

I know ML110 G5 does, but "unfortunatly" I only have a ml150 spare.

thanx

ESXi seems to work on ML150G5!

after BIOS enabling of parameters:
-VT
-KB/MS os IRQ

and pushing SATA controler to enhanced if SATA is used, but Raid on SATA is prohibed. Fortunatly Raid works with a Smartarray E200 extra card.

I used the generic ESXi free distribution (not the HP one).
I have a w2000 server running on it for 9 days and now I am trying to put a SCO osr5 not supported os on it.

chuss
