We have been getting Illegal OppCode errors on our DL360 G6s when loading W2K3 SP2.
Manual build or using RDP ver. 3.83.

Firmware is up to date, ver. 8.60, and BroadCom NIC component is flashed from ver. 2.2.2, 8.60 firmware ver., to 2.2.4
The update fixed a couple of our servers we were having problems with, but we still have a lot that are giving us this error.

From the posts I have seen, it doesn't look like to many people are having this problem.
We just got a large order in and we are 50-50 when it comes to successful.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Does it show red screen with the message? Any other messages besides "Illegal Opcode"?

I would check if the servers have memory modules installed in correct order. I would also update the firmware of all other entities on the server like SA controllers etc using latest firmware maintenance CD and run offline Insight diagnostics.
