Hi ?? device is operating in interim recovery mode?? mean that is a failed hard drive and your raid 5 is compensate for that drive. One need replace that since you no longer have the raid 5 protection. If you loose one you will be losing your array.

Hi All, Were running NetWare 3.12 on a Remote International server which has just received an error message referring to the Disk Array module CPQDA 386. The log says the physical drive W/SCSI ID 0 attached to port 1 of the Compaq array controller has failed and then says that it is operating in recovery mode and that the device is operating in interim recovery mode. We don't have insight manager install on the server, but want to know is there another way of knowing the extent of the problem

Thanks
