Hi all,

I got solution from my Colleague having hardware knowledge not a vendor of hp.

I log a case in hp to help me out in this regard, but hp reject my request and reply to purchase Linux deployment kit licence. A very bad response from hp support team.

Anyway about the solution,

You have to use the following driver image for installation,

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=3883890&swItem=MTX-bf2bb84d110d4776bc95274ab5&prodNameId=3883931&swEnvOID=2025&swLang=13&taskId=135&mode=4&idx=1

Download file (cpq_cciss-2.6.20-23.rhel4.i686.dd.gz) and then on
any linux system,

1- Uncompress the driver image,
gunzip cpq_cciss-2.6.20-23.rhel4.i686.dd.gz

2- Copy uncompressed image to USB,
cp cpq_cciss-2.6.20-23.rhel4.i686.dd /dev/sdb1

(/dev/sdb1 is the device name for USB)

OR If you're using floppy then STEP-2 will be as,

dd if=cpq_cciss-2.6.20-23.rhel4.i686.dd of=/dev/fd0 bs=1440k

After this your driver disk will be ready, boot the server using Redhat
EL4 CD1 and on the input prompt type,

linux dd

Then you'll be asked to enter the device name of the driver disk, in
case of USB you'll have to select sda or sdb etc. and for floppy select
fd. After that it will load the driver from the disk and
installation will start.

Regards,
Sanaullah Shah
