topic NIC fails in ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL)

We installed two DL360 G2 with NetWare 6. The servers were connected to a hub during installation and worked fine.
When we connect the DL360's to a switch, the NIC fails on both servers after a few packages. Going back to a hub and everything works fine again.
Tested scenarios:
- Drivers from Support pack 5.2, 5.4 and 5.50a
- Installed third party NIC from 3Com
- Setting both sides to 100FD, 100HD, Autosense
- Used different brands of switches

The problem remains

Any ideas?

With additional testing we found that the MAC address on all boards is the same. This it not the same addresses reported in the BIOS setup, so the hardware address must be overwritten during startup and before the OS boots.

Any ideas where to find this settings? Can the settings off the NetXtreme Boot Agent be changed and how?

Any hints are appreciated.
