DL380 G5

RAID 5 array

very recent firmware/bios/drivers

I have a logical drive that was extended about 5 days ago but is still showing only 8% "In Progress" under Parity Initialization Status. At this rate it will take weeks to complete.

My question is if a drive fails before this is complete am I ok? Have some important data/services running on this box and it going down would be bad.

PS: I have the Transformation Priority"set to High.

Thanks!
