Can not create additional array on P410i

I have a DL 370 G6 running on windows 2008 R2 SP1.

I have 2 arrays configured:

Array A : RAID 0 160 GB HD

Array B: RAID 1 1 TB HD.

I want to create a 3rd array RAID 1 with 2 TB SATA HD.

When i use the smart array confuration I can only see the 2 HD as unassigned but I don t have any option to create array?

Is there any limitation in creating array with P410i array controller?

NOTE: I updated the software to the latest available and same result. Bios also update to the latest.

hi,

Do you have a cache module ? . If you have P410i zero memory - you can create only 2 logical drives.

Their is no limitaion with the cache module installed you can have 64 logical volumes. Without cache module you can only have 2 logical volumes.
