Hi, I have purchased 2 ML110 G7s to setup a test lab for Vsphere 5. ESXI is on both now after much hassle in getting the Bios correct so EXSi would install. Both have the single 250GB sata drives that came with the servers with the embedded b110i sata controller set up in legacy mode (only way it would install ESXi). On-going through the bios settings on each so both are the same I have noticed that it only shows the 1st controller on one in bios but on the other server shows both. I have double cheeked that all bios settings are the same on each machine. Any ides or help much appreciated.

Paul

Hi,

This server comes with B110i controller.

Can you tell us more like what two controllers are showing? Have you installed additional controller?

If you have installed additional controller, just make sure its in the correct PCI slot.

Also make sure both the servers are at same BIOS version.

Good Luck!
