Anyone knows the steps to check what the versions of the BIOS and Firmware are the dl980? Thx in advance.

What OS are you running? If windows any of the following:

Getting the BIOS version with Linux:

Using only standard Linux tools:

run "dmidecode | less" and check the BIOS Information section.

If the hp-health package is installed:

# hpasmcli -s "show server"

Getting the SmartArray information (including the firmware version) if the hpacucli package is installed:

# hpacucli
hpacucli> ctrl all show config detail
