      <title>DL380 G1 will not boot</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;i have a DL380 G1 server and drive 0&lt;BR /&gt;is bad&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the server has been rebooted and now the server&lt;BR /&gt;will not come up all the way&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;is there any way that i can make a boot disk to&lt;BR /&gt;bring up the server so i can replace the bad drive&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Hi Joe,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Where does the server stops booting? what is the last error message if there is any or the last POST message at the time it stops &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How many drives do you have and how are they configured?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do you ahve any hardware raid configured?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;answer this question so that the forum can help you with the possible answer&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Amha Kassa</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can replace and rebuild the failed disk at BIOS level itself if it is a hardware RAID. If it is software raid and you know which drive has failed then try removing the failed disk from the array and then try to boot. Also try booting to single user mode.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH,&lt;BR /&gt;Devender</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I meant to say try booting to safe mode as Preparing Network connections will only come in Windows environment.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH,&lt;BR /&gt;Devender</description>
