Support Pack for Windows Server 2012 RC

Hello,

Does anyone know if HP has a beta support pack for Windows 2012? With the existing Windows 2008 R2 Support Pack/Service Pack, some things install, but others like the video driver and Management agents do not. I was hoping there would be a native, even if still beta, version specifically for Windows Server 2012 RC. I am running a DL380 G6 as my test server.

Unfortunately, that Support Pack (9.05) still does not include the iLO 3/4 driver so you cannot install the HP Management agents. Of lesser issue is no video driver yet in the SP either. But what I was really hoping to test was adding a Win 2012 server to SIM to see if it came in properly - but with no support for the SNMP or WBEM management agents (due to lack of iLO driver), I cannot due this.

After reviewing the white paper, I noticed this:

Recommended ProLiant servers

Upon commercial release of Windows Server 2012, we will support the current generation of ProLiant servers and one generation back; therefore, we will not support ProLiant G6 servers with Windows Server 2012

As I am using a 380 G6 as my test server, I guess I am out of luck.

Pretty dissapointing, love my G6, still under warranty.

My $200 cell phone is older and still gets support.

What gives? The G6 is a great box for 2012.

This is really wrong as you can still buy some g6 servers even today. I have an ml350 g6 I would like to run 2012 on and my company has a bunch of dl380's. I really is wrong that the g6 is not included when it can be a new server.

Uff mine is ML370G5 so not even to ask and still under warranty! Bad really is very reliable well. Another year with W8R2x64. Very, very dissapointing!
