HP DL160 G5 Unable to reset ILO Username / Password

Hi All,

First of all, a very happy and well 2013!

I'm having troubles with one on the two DL160's G5 I have. On one of the machines cannot be logged into ILO. The username seems to be changed and I have tried all options that I found on the internet and the forum.

- Upgrade BMC

- Downgrade BMC and Upgrade again

- Use IPMI_TOOL

- Installed Server 2003 to see which tool worked in there

- Tried Ubuntu

- Tried Dos

It seems that the topics where people talk about the fact that they were able to reset the password, don't work. I think the username has been changed also.

Is there a proven way to accomplish this ?

I have managed this after installing Ubuntu and using the ipmitool.
