HP P421 SAS CONTROLLER ERROR CODE 10 -DEVICE CANNOT START (HPDL380P g8)

I have a DL380p G8 running WIndows Server 2008 R2 with the latest SPP and Microsoft patches.

The problem i have is my P421 sas controller has a yellow exclaimation mark in device manager with "device cannot start {code 10} error. I have rebuilts server twice, upgraded all firmware for the hardware to the latest and am going no where.

I need the SAS controller for my ext 1/8 StorageWOrks Autoloader doing backups.

Any help.... I'm going nuts here,

What version of SPP did you use? The latest one is here.

What is the state of controller in the ACU? Are there any warnings?
