Please very in witch PCI slot you insert it.... If you have only one CPU, you must insert it into the Right PCIe slot's and verify witch one. Some are reserved. Try to insert it into another PCI-e Port.

Problem with OCZ Z-DRIVE R4 and HP DL380 gen8

I have bought a OCZ Z-DRIVE R4 PCI-E X8 SSD 300GB and trying to get it to work with a HP DL380 gen 8 server (HP art number 677278-421). But the card don't even show up in the BIOS/POST sequence. I have upgrade the server to the latest BIOS P70 (12/14/2012)

I have tried the card in an old DL320 G5 and there it works.

Does any one have any tips.

Best Regards

Lars

I can inform that the card was faulty. The new card worked without a hitch.

/lars
