    <description>&lt;P&gt;Is it only one disk that is flashing red?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If so, then this is a pre-failure warning.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The disk hasnt actually failed yet, but it is recommended to backup and replace it ASAP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If its all of them, then you probably have the ACU open with the logical drive highlighted, this is normal.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is the disk you replaced flashing green to show that it is rebuilding?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What does ACU show the status as?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I&amp;nbsp;have&amp;nbsp;dl320&amp;nbsp;g6&amp;nbsp;proliant&amp;nbsp;server&amp;nbsp;it&amp;nbsp;has&amp;nbsp;4&amp;nbsp;disk&amp;nbsp;with&amp;nbsp;RAID&amp;nbsp;5&amp;nbsp;configuration,&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;I&amp;nbsp;facing&amp;nbsp;yesterday&amp;nbsp;hard&amp;nbsp;disk&amp;nbsp;failure&amp;nbsp;on&amp;nbsp;one&amp;nbsp;of&amp;nbsp;these&amp;nbsp;disk&amp;nbsp;(disk&amp;nbsp;number&amp;nbsp;4&amp;nbsp;from&amp;nbsp;left&amp;nbsp;to&amp;nbsp;right).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When&amp;nbsp;I&amp;nbsp;have&amp;nbsp;replacing&amp;nbsp;this&amp;nbsp;disk&amp;nbsp;with&amp;nbsp;new&amp;nbsp;one,&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;starting&amp;nbsp;on&amp;nbsp;rebuilding&amp;nbsp;process&amp;nbsp;I&amp;nbsp;facing&amp;nbsp;other&amp;nbsp;issue,&amp;nbsp;where&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;rebuilding&amp;nbsp;process&amp;nbsp;is&amp;nbsp;hang&amp;nbsp;on&amp;nbsp;0%&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;other&amp;nbsp;disk&amp;nbsp;is&amp;nbsp;blinking&amp;nbsp;with&amp;nbsp;red&amp;nbsp;color&amp;nbsp;(disk&amp;nbsp;number&amp;nbsp;2).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;this&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;means&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;facing&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;HDD&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;failure&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;?&amp;nbsp;And&amp;nbsp;should&amp;nbsp;be&amp;nbsp;replace&amp;nbsp;2&amp;nbsp;disk&amp;nbsp;?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;2&amp;nbsp;disk&amp;nbsp;is&amp;nbsp;failed&amp;nbsp;how&amp;nbsp;I&amp;nbsp;can&amp;nbsp;to&amp;nbsp;recover&amp;nbsp;my&amp;nbsp;data&amp;nbsp;from&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;RAID&amp;nbsp;5&amp;nbsp;?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Note:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;=====&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The&amp;nbsp;SO&amp;nbsp;is&amp;nbsp;windows&amp;nbsp;server&amp;nbsp;2008&amp;nbsp;re&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;it's&amp;nbsp;not&amp;nbsp;booting&amp;nbsp;because&amp;nbsp;this&amp;nbsp;failure.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The&amp;nbsp;smart&amp;nbsp;array&amp;nbsp;controller&amp;nbsp;is&amp;nbsp;"HP&amp;nbsp;smart&amp;nbsp;array&amp;nbsp;p410/256mb&amp;nbsp;controller"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The&amp;nbsp;HDD&amp;nbsp;part&amp;nbsp;number&amp;nbsp;is&amp;nbsp;"472483-002"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt;If&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;2&amp;nbsp;disk&amp;nbsp;is&amp;nbsp;failed&amp;nbsp;how&amp;nbsp;I&amp;nbsp;can&amp;nbsp;to&amp;nbsp;recover&amp;nbsp;my&amp;nbsp;data&amp;nbsp;from&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;RAID5?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If two disks in RAID5 have failed, then you are most likely out of luck and need to go to your backups.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
