topic Collect hardware failures with ILO from different sites without VPN in ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL)

Currently I'm investigating what the possibilities are for collecting hardware failures from multiple servers on several sites (all separate IT environments without direct VPN connections). We've approximately 40 sites with one or more HP proliant server (DL380/ML350 G6/G7/G8) on each location.

I want to setup one HP System Insight Manager server that monitors all HP servers by ILO and in case of a hardware failure send a mail to my helpdesk. Remote management options such as console and media are not necessary.

Has any one experience with this (thinking about NAT\Port forwarding, other security risks!)?

Thanks in advance!

Greetings,

this seems to be a big solution, but for making it in a better methode, please update me with a simple diagram about the enviroment with information about the number of servers available
