Adding a 2nd Power supply

to a ml350 G6 server. Is it as simple as ordering a matching power supply and inserting?

Any BIOS settings need changed? Any other hardware required on motherboard?

One last question on this. Where are all the places a Power supply reports to when it fails? How will I know it failed without visably looking. This server doesn't have all the HP monitoring softwares installed. Does is show in the windows event log or elsewhere?
