Hi, I have a server with a RAID 1 array set up using 2 500GB Hard drives. I want to increase the hard drive size to 2TB and was wondering what the best way to do this. I have already replaced the hard drives and rebuilt them but I can't find an options to increase partition size.

What is the best way about doing this?

AFAIR this is not possible with this controller. Consider to backup data, re-create the logical drive and restore.

Thanks for the repsonse, that is the way I've read before. It's not very practical though as it's on site and there is a lot of data. I was hoping there was a faster way. For instance if I removed one of the hard drives and put in on another computer, could I increase the partition size and then put it back into the server. would the remaining hard drive rebuild to the correct size.

I want to have all the info before I call there again

Thanks
