Proliant ML350 - failed NEC98431 + degraded smart array controller

Hi!

I have some troubles with a Proliant server.

Here are the informations from the System Management software :

I already switch the smart array part 2 days ago but the System Management declares the failing battery again.

Please answer with an "easy" English vocabulary cause I'm French ^^ (English speaker but difficultes with technic vocabulary).

Hi,

is this in an ML350 G5?

About the NEC98431: check if there is a cable in there. If there is no cable plugged in you get that error.

For the smart array:

upgrade firmware, 1.78 is old. 1.86 is the latest.
if that doesn't help, did you replace the battery, cache module or the smart array? (the E200i is on the system board so not a small change..)
