    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you share more information of your server's storage configuration or a screen shot of the SNMP trap.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6" is the OID for cpqDaPhyDrvStatus.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After this OID if it says 0.8 or 0.9 then it "could" mean Controller in Slot 0 and Drive ID 8 or 9.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I read this some where but could not find that link now.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check in the iLO 4 under System Information -&amp;gt; Storage, to see if any drives are failed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank You!&lt;BR /&gt;I am a HP employee.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A target="_blank" href="https://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?docId=mmr_kc-0120728"&gt;Useful Links for ProLiant Servers&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Odd Status on cpqDaPhyDrvStatus via SNMP</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;System:&amp;nbsp; DL380 Gen 8.&amp;nbsp; OS: XenServer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Receiving an odd status on one hard drive.&amp;nbsp; According to the documentation I can find, cpqDaPhyDrvStatus (&lt;STRONG&gt;1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6&lt;/STRONG&gt;.0.8 in my case) could be 1, 2, 3 or 4.&amp;nbsp; I have one drive that's reporting a 9 via SNMP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any idea what a 9 means?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Terry&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Storage is a Smart Array P420i controller with 8 300 GB hard drives.&amp;nbsp; According to the System Information\Storage page under iLO, drive 1 is OK.&amp;nbsp; The two related logical drives are OK, also.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;D:\&amp;gt;snmpwalk -v 1 -c public HostIPAddress 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;iso.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6.0.8 = INTEGER: 9&lt;BR /&gt;iso.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6.0.9 = INTEGER: 2&lt;BR /&gt;iso.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6.0.10 = INTEGER: 2&lt;BR /&gt;iso.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6.0.11 = INTEGER: 2&lt;BR /&gt;iso.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6.0.12 = INTEGER: 2&lt;BR /&gt;iso.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6.0.13 = INTEGER: 2&lt;BR /&gt;iso.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6.0.14 = INTEGER: 2&lt;BR /&gt;iso.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6.0.15 = INTEGER: 2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;iLO says the drives are OK, but SNMP is very consistent in reporting a status of 9 for the hard drive.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Terry&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Oh, one other oddity, Logical Drive 5 is listed as Degraded.&amp;nbsp; The physical drive is listed as Degraded ( Not Authenticated ) and the drive is reported as having no lights at all locally.&amp;nbsp; SNMP seems to be reporting that the drive is OK.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Terry&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've got the same issue with my&amp;nbsp;ML310e Gen8 v2 too.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ILO is indicating status&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;"Degraded ( Not authenticated)" for both of my disks (HP&amp;nbsp;MB1000GCWCV) as well as the logical array (RAID 1). I can also remember a&amp;nbsp;message containing&amp;nbsp;"...no status lights for both disks..."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ILO-Version: 2.02&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone who knows how to fix that?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Roland&lt;/P&gt;</description>
