Hi,

I am newbie in HP servers,However i have read how to configure RAID and monitor/troubleshoot DL servers.I need to explore its features more in details i required sought of presentation type document about HP DL380p servers features.

HI,

Above link is very useful.

According to link HP 380p G8 server come with Intel Xeon E5-2600 v2 Series processors.

My question is that HP 380P G8 support E5-2680 v3 processor or not??

its support only Legacy BIOS its means Partition size should not exceed 2 TB??.

From what i know. v3 processors are present only on G9.

i think you'll need UEFI to boot drives larger > 2.2 TB. Both, Legacy Bios and Uefi mode are present on G9 and, if i'm not mistaken, 580 G8.
